3 Fun Ways to Display Your Travel Memories

When travelling, it’s easy to wish that each moment could last forever. Whether you are soaking up the sunshine poolside or exploring the ruins of a castle in the countryside. However, while it is impossible to press pause or unwind those clocks – there are plenty of steps you can take to make those memories last a lifetime. For example, you can ensure that you take plenty of photographs throughout your journey – and later find as many creative ways to display them as possible!

While your Instagram feed may already be inundated with snaps from your trip – this is not the only way to show off your photos to your friends and family. Here are some more creative ideas to get you started!

Create a travel-based photobook

Photobooks are a modern answer to traditional albums, only without the hassle associated with putting the album together in the first place. In fact, you can even order these prints from phones or computers without ever having to step foot in a printing shop or store! This means that you are only a few clicks away from professional-quality photo books that you can display within your home, share with guests, or even hand out to friends and family as a unique and thoughtful gift. However, you should ensure that you know how to take better holiday prints on your smartphone ahead of time – so that the quality of the pics matches the book itself.

Create a travel blog

If you are an experienced holidaymaker or are already planning your next voyage across the seas, then you may be sitting on a goldmine of valuable tips and tricks that you could share with others. As a result, you may want to consider creating a travel blog – where you can share your stories with a like-minded community of explorers and maybe even bag yourself some freebies along the way. Furthemore, this is a great way to display your photographs as you can attach them to each of your posts, making the blog more interesting and dynamic for readers. Be sure to read up on everything you need to know about running a blog ahead of time so that you can begin to build up a loyal readership.

Turn your walls into a work of art

Hanging your photographs throughout your home is another excellent way to display your travel memories – however, you must take this as an opportunity to showcase your artistic flair. For example, instead of simply hanging a single canvas within a room, look into some wall display ideas that will help you show off your memories in a unique and sophisticated way. For example, you could print out a range of different photographs in different sizes and create a collage of sorts along your staircase. Alternatively, you can transform an otherwise dull and understated room into an interior designer’s dream by using your photographs and travel memories to introduce new colours, shapes and textures into the space. For example, a scenic beachside shot will look great in your bedroom or bathroom.

In short, there are plenty of different ways in which you can display your travel memories and share them with those around you. However, it’s also important to remember that while taking photos can be a lot of fun, you shouldn’t spend your entire holiday behind the lens. Learning to live in the moment is also a great way to soak up every magical second of your travels – making memories that last a lifetime.

I wish I traveled enough to create a book. We leave the state once a year. LOL If I take enough pictures I could make a book of our once-a-year travels.

These are all great ideas. We tend to print off all our travel photos and keep them in a box, but we never really do anything with them. I only have the odd one or two on display. I really need to change that!

This is the reason why I started writing my travel blog coz I love the idea of sharing stories and experiences with others. I used to make a travel scrapbook, but now switched everything online thru my blog 🙂

These are great ideas! I would love to start creating photo books. I just really need the time to curate the photos and order them online. 🙂

I think that running a travel blog and having multiple travel photo albums is a must have. You would easily be able to keep up with your adventures while also being able to share them with others.
