Which are the hottest places on the planet?

It’s just a few days since I have returned from my amazing trip to Vietnam and I am still having troubles adapting to the cold weather. I remember stepping out of the plane, at -4 degrees, and instantly thinking that I want to go back to the 34C that I have just left behind me, 13 hours before, in Saigon.

Now I am sitting on my couch with a cup of hot chocolate on the table and the electric heater at my feet and my cat on my lap. It’s very cold and I am a summer person. Born in summer, I love summer and I can tolerate high temperatures. That’s why I try to escape winter every year, by going to a warm place for around 3 weeks. And I tell you, there’s something about celebrating Christmas and New Year on a beach!

Sipping from my hot chocolate, a thought came up into my mind… which are the hottest destinations on the planet and how high the temperatures do get over there? What do you think?

Check it out, in this detailed infographic:

I have never traveled to many countries outside of the United States, but I can only imagine how hot is it in places such as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. I travel to Texas often and find it to be very hot there especially in the summer months. I love the heat, as long as it’s more of a dry than humid heat. Thanks for sharing!

I love the heat over the cold but some of these are definitely too hot for me! I’ve only been to Death Valley and Phoenix from your list and they were so crazy hot!

I am not a heat person at all! And I was even born in a hot country. I do love summer and summer activities but can’t stand when it gets over 90 degrees. Lol
